Module-level material declarations, reliability data, and integration notes — open, no sales gate. End-product certifications (CE / FCC / UKCA) are the integrator's responsibility, and we ship the documentation you need to do that certification cleanly.

Two distinct deliverables for every shipping E1M SoM: material and environmental declarations, and module-level reliability data. Both apply to the SoM as a component and are signed by Alp Lab AB.

Pass-through certifications

For SoMs that include on-module wireless, we pass through the radio sub-module vendor's certifications and document the integration constraints. Your end product still needs its own end-product certification.

FCC modular grant

Pass-through of the on-module radio vendor’s grant. Antenna requirements and host-product labelling rules ship in the integration notes. Your end product still needs FCC SDOC.
IC modular grant (Canada)

Pass-through of the on-module radio vendor’s Innovation Canada modular grant for SoMs that include certified wireless.
CE / RED 2014/53/EU

Radio Equipment Directive pass-through for the radio sub-module only. Your end-product DoC is your responsibility.

§ What's the integrator's responsibility

End-product certification you do at your level.

An SoM is a component, not a finished product. The certifications below apply to the integrated end product and stay with you as the product manufacturer. We don't issue any of these for you — but we make them easier to obtain (see the next section).

End-product CE marking: Your integration into the final product — the module is one component of many.
End-product FCC Part 15 SDOC: Final-product Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity for unintentional radiators.
End-product UKCA marking: UK conformity for the integrated product, post-Brexit.
EMC / EMI testing at end-product level: Radiated + conducted emissions, immunity, and ESD on the finished product.
Functional safety: IEC 61508 (industrial), ISO 26262 (automotive), IEC 62304 (medical software) — system-level, not module-level.
Medical / automotive / industrial safety: IEC 60601, ISO 14971, IATF 16949, etc. — end-product certifications carried by the OEM.

Documentation + engineering, so you don't start from zero.

Certifying an integrated edge-AI product is faster when you start from a known-good module. These are the artifacts we provide on top of the material + reliability set.

Pre-compliance EMC scan results

Module-level radiated and conducted emissions characterisation. Lets you predict end-product margin before booking accredited lab time.

Integration notes

Antenna placement, ground-plane stitching, decoupling guidance — written so your end product clears FCC Part 15 and CE EMC on first attempt.

Reference-design EMC reports

Carrier boards that have themselves achieved end-product CE / FCC on a customer programme. Build on a known-good baseline.

Engineering support for end-product certification

Paid service — design review, pre-scan with our partner labs, and direct support through your accredited test house.
